Howbert Elementary School PTO
About
Our PTO was formed in 2019. Prior to that Howbert had an active PTA group since the 1980's. We switched to a PTO in order to keep 100% of donations at Howbert Elementary.
Every September/October we host our annual Walk-A-Thon. This is the only fundraiser we do each year seeking monetary donations. The day of the Walk-A-Thon we gather together outside with community members and walk, run, or dance around the playground for 45 minutes. We love having our community present for this event!
We are proud of our school and what we as a community can accomplish together to better our school. In the past we have been able to provide benches for the playground, fund field trips, build outdoor learning areas, and purchase a multitude of supplies.

Howbert is truly a wonderful school and we are proud to be a part of it. We could not do all that we do as a PTO without your support so thank you! Every little bit helps!

Watch D.O.G.S. program
Calling all father figures!
We are excited to be hosting the Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads of great students) Program at Howbert. It is important to us to increase the male presence within our school. Moms, you're welcome too! Our students LOVE having our Watch DOGS around and you'll be the favorite for the day!

What to expect:
When you sign up for your first day we will provide you with an official Watch D.O.G.S. t-shirt. You will spend the day at Howbert helping out in multiple classrooms (including your student's class), eat lunch with the students, and be a great role model for our students. And it's no joke, the kids love it and you will too!
